Founder Story
How a Welsh rugby player became South Wales' most trusted property sourcer.
Max's story, what MMWW Property is, and what we believe about building real wealth through property the slow, honest way.

From the pitch to property
Six years of pro rugby. Then everything changed.
I spent six years as a professional rugby player. Loved every minute of it, until I didn't. When I stepped away from the game I knew two things. One, I wasn't going back to a 9 to 5 someone else owned. Two, I needed something that paid me for the work, not the hours.
Property made sense. I had a passion for property, and time on my hands. Deal sourcing made sense - I could spend my time viewing properties, building relationships, while others were busy.
The skills carried straight across from rugby. Discipline. Performance under pressure. Attention to detail that borders on annoying. Knowing that preparation is what wins, not luck.
Why MMWW exists
I was tired of watching good people get bad deals.
The third friend in a row asked me to "just have a look" at a deal another sourcer had sent them. The third deal in a row was rubbish. Overpriced. Refurb numbers fantasy. Comparables cherry-picked.
"The South Wales sourcing market was full of people selling deals. Nobody was actually buying them and living with the outcome."
That's what I built MMWW to fix. Bespoke sourcing for one client at a time. Refurbs handled in-house. Lettings team I'd trust with my own properties because, well, they manage my own properties. One point of contact for the whole journey. Me.
What we believe
Four rules. Non-negotiable.
01
Property is a long game, not a quick flip.
If a deal only makes sense at peak rents and a soft refinance, it's not a deal. We model conservatively, always.
02
You should never have to chase your sourcer.
Weekly updates. Same day replies. The day you have to ask 'any news?' is the day I've failed at my job.
03
One point of contact, every step.
Sourcing, refurb, lettings, brokers, solicitors. You speak to me. Not a CRM auto-responder. Not a sales rep.
04
In-house beats outsourced.
Same builder every refurb. Same lettings team every let. Consistent quality only happens with consistent people.
The Team
It's me, and the people I trust with my own money.
The in-house build team handles every MMWW refurb. When they're at capacity, I use a small bench of trusted individual trades I've worked with for years. No subbing it out to whoever's free.
The lettings team handles every tenant we place. Vetted, referenced, deposit-protected. The same people who manage my own portfolio.
The broker network is a short list of mortgage brokers and solicitors I've done dozens of deals with. You don't need to find them. They come with the engagement.
